ABOUT GREG
I grew up in the small city of Monona which is a suburb of Madison, Wisconsin. Our family loved the outdoors and routinely went on camping, fishing, biking, sporting, and hunting excursions.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry, I moved to Denver, Colorado to work as a chemist in a radiochemistry lab for one year then worked as a senior wildlife biologist/sr. project manager with an international consulting firm for 15 years. This job allowed me to refine my skills in biology, personnel management, time management and contract negotiation for multi-million-dollar projects all over the world.
I met my lovely wife in Leadville Colorado on a blind date following a lengthy environmental investigation in the area. I am proud to report that we married in Breckenridge, Colorado almost 32 years ago and have three beautiful daughters, two of which are identical twins. We enjoy the Colorado outdoors through camping, hiking, and biking when we were not sitting poolside as our daughters swam competitively year-round from the age of 8 through high school. My wife is a manager of a successful commercial real estate company in Denver and our daughters have all graduated from CU- Boulder and CSU- Fort Collins with degrees in Business – Real Estate, Finance, and Information Systems/Supply Chain Management and successfully working within their fields!
My consulting job required almost 80% travel and I wanted to spend more time with my family, so I pursued a career in real estate. I joined RE/MAX Alliance in 2004 and have been a student of this profession ever since. I have received many designations and production awards annually, but my greatest accomplishment is to outperform my industry in ways providing Buyers and Sellers the tools and our expertise to make the most informed decision to successfully transact on their sale and/or purchase of real estate. More than 80% of my current business is directly related to past clients and their referrals!! I hold all on my team accountable to put our client’s needs first and ensure that we put them in the best possible situations throughout the entire transaction. Below are a list of awards and designations received; however, the most gratifying part of this business is helping clients obtain their dreams through home ownership and giving back to our community. I am a RE/MAX Miracle Agent who donates $100 on behalf of clients each home transaction to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. I am passionate about this program and will send Honor Cards to clients, acknowledging the donation made on their behalf.
